APERITIF DINNER IN PADOVA
Join us for a special evening during the HEAL2026 Congress in Padua.
On Friday June 5th, participants are warmly invited to an exclusive aperitif dinner set in one of the city’s most remarkable historic locations: the Loggia of the Palazzo della Ragione, overlooking the vibrant Piazza delle Erbe.
Built starting in 1218 as the seat of Padua’s courts and markets, the Palazzo della Ragione is one of the most celebrated civic monuments of medieval Europe.
Its great upper hall—known as the Salone—measures 82 by 27 meters and is among the largest unsupported halls on the continent, covered by a striking ship-hull-shaped wooden roof created in the early 14th century.
The interior is richly decorated with a rare and extensive medieval astrological fresco cycle, originally inspired by the teachings of Pietro d'Abano. The hall also preserves unique historical elements, including the “Stone of Shame,” once used in public rituals of justice, a monumental wooden horse, and a modern Foucault pendulum, symbolizing the passage of time and the building’s enduring link between science, law, and civic life.
The loggia offers a unique perspective over the bustling square below—where markets, culture, and daily life have intertwined for centuries—making this setting in the very heart of Padova truly unforgettable.

The aperitif dinner will feature a stand up buffet with a refined selection of food and drinks, providing a relaxed and convivial atmosphere to network and connect with fellow participants.
